On purpose, ojo breaks new ground. In Germany there are only few DJs who know how to play Future Funk. The records are very much in demand, quickly sold out and therefore not easy to get. Many people just have noticed this genre. However, in Great Britain and Switzerland it is already experiencing a real boom.

For eight years now ojo has been working the turntables. Besides his monthly Resident-DJ jobs in the "Ventil Club" in Switzerland (Baden), the "Marshall Bar" and the club "Schräglage" in Stuttgart, ojo is being booked everywhere in Germany and abroad. ojo betritt bewusst Neuland. In Deutschland gibt es nur wenige DJs, die Future Funk spielen können. Die Platten sind heissbegehrt, schnell vergriffen und somit schwer zu kriegen. Viele werden hierzulande gerade erst auf dieses Genre aufmerksam. In England und der Schweiz hingegen boomt es bereits.

Seit acht Jahren ist ojo unterwegs an den Plattentellern. Los mejores sonidos de club de Future Funk, Bossa Breaks, Big Beat y Swinging Dancefloor Jazz, eso es lo que ofrece un DJ-set de ojo. Encantado dice sobre su pasión para la música: "Siempre me he interesado por los géneros de música diferentes y me gusta la diversidad. Avec enthousiasme il dit sur sa passion pour la musique: «Je me suis toujours intéressé aux genres différents et j’aime la diversité. Des accents de Jazz dans la musique House, Funk s’unit au Big Beat, soulful Drum’n’Bass, funky Breakbeats et rythmes chauds de Latin-Bossa s’embrassent, Samba rencontre Swing, il y en aurait encore plus á nombrer – le paysage exotique du son offre vraiment beaucoup. J’adore ça! J’aime beaucoup la variation et c’est pourquoi mon style est différent comparé avec les styles des autres DJs. 'Explorer quelque chose de NOUVEAU!' on le pourrait décrire.» Le mix de ojo va directement dans les oreilles et c’est impossible de ne pas bouger. Son répertoire est simplement fait pour danser et garde l’equilibre entre présenter les derniers «cris» de club aussi qu’animer souverainement la piste de danse. Intentionnellement ojo marche sur terre vierge. En Allemagne il n’y a pas beaucoup de DJs qui savent mettre Future Funk. Il y a une demande grande pour ces disques, ils sont rapidement épuisés et donc difficile à trouver. Beaucoup de gens en Allemagne ont tout á l’heure pris connaissance de ce genre, mais en Angleterre et en Suisse il voit déjà un boom.

Depuis huite années ojo s’occupe des platines. En dehors de ses emplois mensuels comme Resident-DJ dans le club «Ventil» en Suisse (Baden), le «Marshall-Bar» et le club «Schräglage» en Stuttgart – ojo est demandé partout en Allemagne et dans l’étrangère. Puis en cas que tu entendes bientôt un mélange entraînant de funky Breakbeats passant devant un club dans ta ville, vas-y tout de suite!
